Flower Necklace Collection

These necklaces in the flower necklace collection are incredibly intricate to make. It is the reason they look so cool. When I started putting these pieces together, the picks themselves created a cool flower shape. But, it wasn’t enough…it needed more bling…more flare. It needed a center…a heart…an ornament to make it stand out.

This is where the connection comes in. I love the connection. The way pieces come together, textures and patterns. I began to weave the pick and the jump ring together, creating a kind of tension, a cohesion between the rings and the picks, a binding of materials into this fierce look.

The flower necklace is further enhanced by the dual layer chain that creates a delicate yet edgy look…universal.

Mechanics: I hand drill every hole in each pick. Each pick contain four holes. Four holes times 5 picks is 20 hand drilled holes. Seriously!
